Conferences are the BOMB! 3/14/2016

Well this week went well! We had a ton of meetings and conferences. Which is GREAT! Conferences on your mission are great. So much revelation.

We were able to go to the YSA Face2Face broadcast with Elder Jeffery R. Holland. It was AMAZING! If you didn’t watch it, go and watch it. They did a Q&A with questions from YSAs all around the world and talked about some very important things for YSAs. I learned a lot of things that I can apply on my mission and after I go home. Seriously, life changing. Watch it.
On Wednesday, we had Zone Conference! The St. Louis zone combined with the O’Fallon, IL zone so I got to see my baby, Sister Williams! And her baby, Sister Hubbard! #MissionaryLingo

The conference was great! It was all about repentance. I learned a lot more about repentance by studying and in the trainings. Repentance is for so much more than just sins. It’s an every day thing. It’s how we endure to the end and continue to learn, grow and progress.
We also had Stake Conference this weekend. It was SO GREAT! Elder Evanson from the 70 came. We went to the Saturday night adult session. Talk about YSA take over! Mallory spoke about her conversion story, Savannah did a musical number and Aubrie said the prayer! We even took up a whole pew and a half!! We have the best branch ever. Just saying. πŸ™‚ Mallory’s talk was amazing. She’s dealt with a lot of things during her conversion. Her family is not supportive at all. Very against it. Mallory has one of the strongest testimonies I’ve ever heard. It’s been such a privilege to know her. πŸ™‚ She was baptized last February and went through the temple on her year mark from her baptism! And she is leaving to the Paris France Mission in June. She’s truly amazing.
The Sunday morning session of Stake Conference was good too. We got to hear some great testimonies.
We also had some great lessons this week! It’s been a struggle to make appointments and have people keep them. We are trying really hard to find new people to teach, we are talking to everyone and contacting so much! We’ll keep working hard. Patience is key. We had a great lesson with Kurt, our recent convert. Still super solid! He was so prepared and it seems like he’s been a member his whole life! Cherie is spending a week with the nuns for spring break. We’ll see how that goes. Pascal has great questions and is really interested in learning more! We have some good finding plans coming up. We are going to have a booth at Washington University! Just like college booths for ambassadors at SUU but sharing the gospel!! I’m so stoked to use that for finding.
There is a new Easter Initiative! It’s SO GOOD!!! It’s at GO TO THIS WEBSITE AND WATCH THIS VIDEO. It’s life changing. You have to watch it three times, I’ve decided. The first time I saw it, it was a good video. The second time, I understood it more. The third time though. The third time it is powerful. The Spirit is so strong and I promise you can feel it when you watch this video.
I invite you all to share it on social media. Post it with your testimony and I know you will touch the lives of others. There are so many ways to share the light of the gospel! πŸ™‚
I love you all and I hope you have a great week!
