$2,690,000. That’s how much it would cost to send two missionaries and a Book of Mormon to space. Let’s make it happen. 😉
Operation Send Missionaries to Space
Hello beautiful people!
This week was good. Actually it was kind of a hard week. Pretty much all of our lessons fell through and we didn’t have many lessons. BUT. It was also a good week because I learned some valuable lessons about a lot of things.
Cherie is doing great! I don’t remember if I told you about her. Cherie referred herself online and is so interested in learning about the gospel! We had two lessons with her this week, gave her and her mom a church tour, and she came to church! She’s on fire!! 🙂 The thing that got her interested in the church is families. Family is very important to her. Guess what we talked about in church yesterday? Families!! It was so cool, she loved it! This branch is so good at reaching out and making people feel welcome! 🙂 Anyways, Cherie is doing well and I love her. 🙂
We started teaching a former investigator named Pascal. He’s from Nigeria and is super cool. He has a lot of questions about the Restoration so we are excited to meet with him this week. It was a total miracle that we got a hold of him. We had tried his house a couple times with no luck and had called too. We figured he wasn’t interested anymore or something. One day, out of the blue, we felt like we really needed to call him. So we did. 🙂 He had just gotten back into town after about 2 months and his schedule had calmed down and he is ready to meet with missionaries again! 🙂
Cool story time. There’s a member in the branch named Robyn. She’s super hard core. Anyways. She has a Tinder account for missionary work! Yesterday she brought a guy named Brady to church with her. She just meets these people and brings them to church! It’s so cool! #TalkAboutUsingSocialMediaToShareTheGospel.
We also did a ton of contacting this week. There’s a park in St. Louis called Forest Park. It’s the biggest urban park in the country. (Well that’s what everyone keeps telling us so it must be true) It’s such a beautiful park! We went contacting there for several hours on Saturday. We met a bunch of really cool people! Being on a mission, you meet a lot of different people from all walks of life. It gives you another perspective. Every person on this earth is a child of God. He loves all His children so much! He wants us all to be happy. 🙂 You start to see people through God’s eyes. I’ve started to love people I’ve only just met! Every one has infinite worth and divine potential! Missions bring miracles. I’m truly indebted to Heavenly Father for this experience.
I hope you all have a great week! I love you all! Thank you for everything!
We went to the Science Center last Monday for P-Day. 🙂
