Missions are a beautiful thing! 2/29/2016

Wonderful family and friends! You all are so great!! πŸ™‚

Well we had a great week! We found 4 new investigators! Well one already dropped us so.. 3 new investigators!! We are so excited to be teaching them all! One of them is Cherie. She is the sweetest person ever! She loved the idea of eternal families and was really excited to meet with us. We got to know her a bit and she told us that she was planning on becoming a nun. After she said that, I was super nervous to invite her to be baptized but the Spirit just said go for it so I did! Guess what her answer was?! “If that’s God’s plan for me, then yes I will!” AAAHHHH! She has such strong faith! I admire her for that and her love for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I’m super excited to continue to teach her.
Last week we had a lesson with a less active from the family ward. He struggles with some things and hasn’t been to church in years. We invited him to come and join us in the YSA branch. And he came to church yesterday!! I was bummed out at first because he wasn’t there when Sacrament Meeting started. But a few minutes later he walked in the door! So stoked.
The gospel is true!! Sometimes all people need is an invitation. πŸ™‚
We got to be in a tri on Tuesday! (That means that there is 3 companions instead of 2) Sister Williams came to the YSA for the day! It was so great to see her again. Her trainee went home but she is going to be training again! She is such a great missionary and will continue to do amazing things in Centralia. πŸ™‚
We had a treat in our weekly planning and at district meeting this week. Remember the Blairs? Well they were our branch President and his wife in the YSA and they just got called to be mission presidents! For part of their training they need to do things with local missionaries. (district meetings, zone conferences, lessons, planning sessions) So Sister Blair joined us for weekly planning. She is so great. She took us to lunch afterwords and we had a great chat with her. President and Sister Blair are some of the most amazing people. They love so much. They’re going to be great in New Hampshire.
This week went well. We are excited for next week and all the adventures it holds.
The gospel is true. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us so much. πŸ™‚
Thank you for all your love and support and prayers!
